Such a lovely and cozy place to stay! We happened to have booked a stay right through a snowstorm, but were still warm and toasty in the dome and loved being in the wood-fire heated hot tub surrounded by fresh snow. And the owners were incredible and plowed not only their driveway but also their road so we could leave on time! It is still camping for sure, you need to bring water, chop wood and cook outside, but that made the experience better! And you can’t beat having a private bathroom, inside the dome! Will definitely be back!

Outstanding! What a comfortable place to stay, so close to riding trails and the forest!

We were able to hop onto the Whistle Pig trail and join the North Star from the site, and what a treat it was to soak in the wood fired tub after a day of ATV riding! The beds are comfy, the dome is warm on cool nights and there is so much seating room around the firepit that we were able to set up a hammock, too. We can’t wait to stay again!

What an amazing off the grid place!! Shauna and Chris have thought of everything! I mean a wood fired hot tub? Come on! Talk about bliss! The thoughtful treat to welcome you, and everything else you could need, and quick to answer any questions or help in any way!

Highly recommend taking in a couple nights (or more) here! Whether it’s to unwind or hang out with friends/family – truly a little slice of heaven! You won’t be disappointed!

We had a wonderful two-night stay in the Bear’s Den a week ago. Shauna was a terrific help. From the moment we arrived, we found delightful touches and beautiful scenery. The wood-fired hot tub heated very quickly, the bbq was convenient for cooking meals, and the spacious and cozy dome was extremely comfortable. We are highly recommending a stay in one of the domes for a private couples getaway!
